Quilted Neckpieces

The Quilted Scrubber series was born from a fascination with traditional quilt making skills. As a symbol of domestic warmth and protection the quilt is embellished with stories and well-wishes passed down through the female lineage. Formed out of silver and blackened copper the soft billowing surface of the quilt becomes a hard, reflective shield - an impenetrable armour and a scratching weapon for protection.
